We are looking for a part time live-out nanny to help care for our 2 delightful, energetic and bright boys, aged 3 and 6. We are a professional couple whose working hours demand some degree of flexibility, but in general the working pattern is 3.5 days per week (Tues, Wed, Fri and half day Thursday). Hours: 07:30 – 19:00 Tues, Wed and Friday and 11:30 – 14:30 Thursday One night per week babysitting Duties: Getting boys ready for school/ nursery and morning drop off Fetching from nursery and school Providing lunch and dinner (on occasions being responsible for preparing these meals) Engaging boys in activities, taking to local parks, play dates, library, etc. Light chores, e.g. keeping boy’s rooms tidy, loading/ emptying washing machine, emptying dishwasher Overseeing homework/ reading Bathing boys in the evening Qualities and requirements: We are looking for an energetic, organised nanny who genuinely enjoys looking after children who will work with us as an enthusiastic partner in our children’s care • Reliable, diligent and conscientious • Non smoker • At least 2 years’ experience working as a nanny/ looking after children of similar age • At least 2 excellent verifiable references • Child-care qualification / Ofsted registration • CRB check (or willing to have one carried out) • Fluent in English • Full driving licence not essential but would be a plus • Eligible to work in the UK Salary will be at market rates and dependent on experience and qualifications.
