Au Pair Housekeeper Position We are a friendly Indian Family looking for a kind enthusiastic affectionate and loving French-speaking female Au-pair to look after our 3 children aged 2 4 and 7. Our eldest daughter attends Andre Malraux (French School in Hanwell) and both myself and my husband are English-speaking so it is essential that the applicant speaks French. The general hours (Mon-Fri) would be 7-8.30am essentially to get the children dressed and ready for school and 2.30 7.30pm for School pick ups after school activities homework help with dinnertime and bath time. You will also be responsible for keeping the children s rooms clean and tidy preparing snacks when needed ironing (only for children) and making sure their essentials for activities are packed and ready. This is a general outline of duties and although we try to adhere to routine you will need to be flexible to changes. For example during the holidays will probably need more assistance with the children. The children attend Religion class on a Saturday morning so will need assistance in getting them ready in the morning and giving them breakfast. They do not return until 2pm. You will be needed once they return from class for activities or general playing or doing homework. We do try and put the children in bed by 7.30pm at the weekend unless any special plans are made for the evening. On Sundays mornings we normally take the children swimming to a private club. You will need to help get them ready for swimming perhaps go into the pool with them shower and change them after swimming. We have a full-time cleaner who also assists with the children occasionally. However her role is to clean and tidy the house and make meals for the family. If you can also fulfil this role we will rethink the current pay structure and offer you more in terms of salary. We are looking for someone with an abundance of common sense and patience with a good sense of humour. You must have experience of caring for children and be a non-smoker. You must be a minimum of 23 years old and be available for at least 1 year. You will have your own Bedroom and Bathroom. It would be a bonus if you are able to drive. We live in the heart of Ealing Broadway (5 min walk to the station and a stones throw from all the shops. You can also walk to Ealing Common (7 mins away. Essentially we are looking for someone who enjoys looking after children is proactive responsible reliable trustworthy clean and hygienic. You need to be energetic and cheerful.
