We are a fun friendly and relaxed family living between East Finchley and Muswell Hill (North London) looking for a live in au-pair to look after our two lovely (and very well-behaved children an 8 year old boy and a 6 year old girl. Both children attend school and the duties are therefore part time as most of the role is Afterschool 4-5 days a week. We are looking for someone to start as soon as possible or by early September. The pay is £95 week plus food and accommodation. We are in an ideal location (5 mins walk to East Finchley station with easy access to Central London) and we are 10 mins walk to the vibrant shops and cafes of Muswell Hill. We also have Highgate Woods and Cherry Tree Woods close by. General Duties Taking the children to and collecting from school playdates and afterschool activities Encouraging homework Babysitting once or twice a week Light housework household help a few hours a week Preparing a healthy supper for the children on weekdays Usually not required weekends You will have your own private room with Tv and bathroom and shower We d like you to Be caring reliable honest hard-working cheerful and easy going Have good commonsense and a level of independence Have some previous au pair childcare experience Speak good English Have excellent and checkable references Be a non-smoker Be energetic and enjoy the outdoors Be able to cook simple and nutritious meals for children with some interest in cooking Like children You must be Eligible to work in the UK Preferable advantageous Be able to drive in the UK an advantage but not essential If you would like to be a part of our family and feel that you are a good fit for what we require please email Lesley at lesley prosperoteaching.com with a copy of your Cv your available start date and a recent photograph (if possible.
