We’re looking for a live-in nanny to help us look after our two kids, Archie (5) and Clara (nearly 3). Archie likes tennis, Lego, pirates and knights in shining armour, he sometimes has his moments waking up in the morning (who doesn’t) and is in his 2nd year of pre-prep school. Clara is a girly girl who knows what she wants and likes shoes already; we’re looking for her to start nursery next September. Louise and I are mid 30′s, we both work full time (I’m a company director and Louise sells wine) so the role is sole charge Mon-Fri. Our current nanny is Aussie, leaves soon after 12 happy months to travel for the 2nd part of her ’2 year thing’ in Europe. We’re looking for a live-in, min commitment of 6 months (preferably one year/18 months for continuity’s sake). Clara is talking lots so we’re looking for someone with a very high or fluent level of English. Large bedroom, laptop available, broadband, TV recorder etc, we have a cleaner 2 days a week so we wouldn’t expect much on that front other than normal chipping in. We’re based in Ealing, west London, 5 mins from a Piccadilly Line station and 15 mins from Ealing Broadway. We’re a friendly family but also respect personal boundaries completely. Most importantly we are looking a team player, for someone we can trust and who will enjoy looking after Archie and Clara, and who we can occasionally celebrate with getting through to Friday.
