One Of Our Current Vacancies (we have many other positions available) We are currently looking for a live-in carer for a client of ours who is in her 30s and lives in her own home in Windsor a historic city the West of London. She has had Cerebral Palsy since she was born. Her family live nearby and are very supportive. This client has a great personality an excellent sense of humour and is very friendly. She likes socialising getting out and about and she enjoys reading. The ideal carer in this position would be a considerate female a good listener but also have a good sense of humour be outgoing and enjoy going out and leading an active lifestyle. A love of cooking would be a bonus We are also looking for someone who has some previous care experience although this is not essential as all our carers take part in our in-house 4 day training course followed by a 24 hour handover. Duties involve some personal care some light housework shopping cooking and accompanying the client when she gets out and about. Others work for 3 months then go and do something different such as go travelling do voluntary work or even do a different kind of job for as long as they want. We often welcome them back for more work at a later date when they need to earn more money So as long as you can do the initial 3 months we are happy. No Previous Experience Required We Train Then We Support Well All our applicants who are successful at interview will be given 4 days free professional training followed by a 24 hour handover with the existing carer when they start a new job. Then they will always be supported on the job by their personal care co-ordinator who visits them regularly and talks to them a lot on the phone.
