We are looking for a candidate that can support our rapid growth with responsibilities for our hosted environment office servers and networking and system architecture. You will also work with operations on the monitoring and maintenance of our systems. Skills Design architecture installation management budgeting and monitoring of all aspects of the system network and infrastructure Linux setup and installation of Debian based system as well as full familiarity with the apt package management system Ability to manually compile install and configure applications into the correct folders with the correct setup Experience with installing and configuring the following Open-Source software MySQL Apache2 Php OpenSSH Experience with MySQL Backup solutions including Replication as well as Scaling and Optimising databases Specific experience with Amanda Cacti Nagios Xen Snmp Dns Dhcp OpenVPN High Availability knowledge and experience (including Failover Proven experience of managing large cluster-based applications Please send a short note on why you believe you will be ideal for the position.
