The FTSE 100 client is one of the largest retail property groups in the world. They require a commercially focused management accountant to join their retail finance team on a 12 month Fixed Term Contract basis. Your role will help improve the business partnering ability of senior management. The Role? The main duties of the role include Financial Planning and Analysis, Management reporting, External Year End and Interim Reporting and Business Partnering: * Contribute to the Retail monthly management accounts. * Analyse the monthly Managed ops management accounts. * Liaise with Directors to monitor and review P&L performance. Identify follow up actions to improve performance and deal with all finance related queries. * Prepare and update development reports on a monthly basis for properties within your portfolio. * Ensure timely and accurate completion of the budget and half year forecast for your portfolio liaising closely with the Directors. Take a lead in identified areas across the business unit as a whole. * Assist with the year end and half year end reporting process, taking a lead on identified areas within the business analysis section. * Act as business partner to the relevant Directors. * Ensure monthly property P&L meetings are held for assigned portfolio and developments. * Prepare turnover analysis What do you Need? * Qualified Accountant (ACA, CIMA, ACCA) * Management accounting/commercial accounting experience.
