A vacancy has arisen for the position of FOOD SERVICE ASSISTANT With an unrivalled aspect on the river Thames the facility boasts seven private dining rooms, a 240 seat staff restaurant, retail shop and licensed coffee bar. Foodservices include an eclectic staff restaurant offering breakfast and lunch, executive private lunches and dinners through to VIP receptions as well as all manner of events in between. The key duties/responsibilities are as follows: To provide a first class service to client staff and guests. • To assist as directed with all aspects of preparation, production, presentation and service of the deli bar and food in the staff restaurant • To assist in preparation, presentation and marketing of counters as and when directed and to ensure sufficient supplies throughout the service period • To ensure tables and accompaniments are left clean, and are adequately stocked during service times • Clear down counters and tables at the end of service to the standards laid down on the cleaning schedule or as required and directed The successful candidate must be: • Professional and polite in their working style • Impeccably well presented • Able to work effectively in a team Previous deli bar / restaurant experience is an advantage.
