Twist is a children s store started back in 2007 a collaboration between 2 friends Suky a fashion Buyer and Anna an Accountant. The store opened in Balham on a tiny side street in 2010 Twist moved to its current location on the high street. The range at Twist is huge from toys books and clothing to buggies prams and highchairs. We aim to offer a good mix of fun frivolous toys traditional wooden classics innovative new products and practical essentials so that our customers can find everything they need for their babies and toddlers in one place. Following our expansion we want to expand our team and are looking for talented passionate and enthusiastic individuals who are ready for a challenge. Job Description Twist Team Members will assist the Manager in the smooth and efficient running of the store. Main Roles Responsibilities Opening and closing the store following the procedures involved which include opening the till cashing up and banking at the end of the day and ensuring the store is left clean and fully secured. Regularly replenishing the shelves to ensure that all available items are on display and the store is merchandised correctly as well as informing management when stock is running low. Become a product expert and use this knowledge to advise customers and ensure that their needs are met Maintaining excellent housekeeping standards both on the shop floor and in the stock room Ensuring all customers are greeted warmly and thanked for shopping at Twist Providing an excellent level of customer service at all times dealing with customer returns and orders Working closely and maintaining a good relationship with all colleagues to increase sales and customer satisfaction Receiving unpacking pricing merchandising and updating stock levels when deliveries arrive. Using initiative to think of new methods of display to increase sales and to suggest new products. Demonstrating flexibility and a willingness to participate in all tasks Taking on ownership of tasks delegated by the manager and displaying pride in achieving new goals Competitive Salary Reporting to the Manager Part Time Working hours four 6 hour shifts days are flexible.
